DESCRIPTION:TIME: Monday\, January 13 from 6:30pm-7:30pm or Saturday\, January 18 from 11:00am-12:00pm (auditioners need only attend one day).*  ?Please be on time and present for the entire hour of the audition.\n\nPRODUCTION DATES: April 25 - May 4\, with a preview night on April 24\n\n*If you are interested in auditioning but unable to attend either audition date\, please reach out to director Stephanie Natale Frus at JDTsteph@gmail.com in advance.\nThis play\, by Simon Stevens based on a novel by Mark Haddon\, and set in modern-day England is a dark\, dramatic\, engaging\, active\, demanding\, deeply-human neighborhood mystery seen through the eyes of an autistic teen.\n\nThis is an ensemble piece with many moving parts. The ideal cast is teamwork-driven and has a wide variety of skills to bring to the table. A strong desire to create specifically-choreographed and compelling\, complex theatre is required.\n\nThe four principal roles have the vast majority of the lines. Christopher and Ed require strong memorization. Other cast members have minimal line memorization requirements\, but lots of choreography memorization requirements. All cast members must be able and willing to move their bodies quickly\, lift up to 20lbs\, and use their voice to create sounds and noises that one might consider animalistic. Humming\, buzzing\, clicking\, and other forms of vocal play will be utilized live on stage.
