DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special "Creole Jazz Fusion" Workshop with drummer Paul July Joseph and trumpeter/composer Mark Tipton at Bagaduce Music! This in-person event will immerse you in the rich sounds of Creole jazz fusion\, which blends Haitian folk styles such as Yanvalou\, Congo\, Ibo\, Kompa\, and Zouk with jazz. Learn from two talented musicians as they share their expertise and passion for this unique genre. Don't miss this opportunity to expand your musical horizons.\n\nThis in-person event will immerse you in the rich sounds of Creole Jazz Fusion which blends Haitian folk styles such as Yanvalou\, Congo\, Ibo\, Kompa\, and Zouk with jazz. \n\nThis workshop is open to absolutely everyone!  Paul will demonstrate different rhythmic styles\, and ask for volunteers to come up and join him. Literally anyone can participate! He'll have some hand percussion instruments with him for folks to use\, and if we run out of instruments\, people can clap their hands. \n\nParticipants should not plan to bring their own instruments (unless they're hand-drummers).\n\nYouth/Young Adult: $15\n\nAdults: $20\n\nKeeper of the Arts: $40\n\nThis event is the first of a two day\, three location tour hosted by Bagaduce Music.  We hope you will find a way to join us for one or all three events as we enjoy these amazingly talented musicians.
