DESCRIPTION:The Cinderella Project of Maine\, a community project by Waldo Community Action Partners\, returns to Waldo County for its 18th season on Friday\, April 19 and Saturday\, April 20 at The Mermaid Plaza on Route 1 in Searsport. The event is open to any Maine high school student by appointment. Cinderella Project of Maine provides free formal attire to high school students so they can attend their proms or formal events without the burden of cost keeping them from participating.\n\n\n\nRegistrations are ongoing at https://calendly.com/waldocap/the-cinderella-project. \n\n\n\nEvents like this need volunteers to set-up and execute and for break down. If you or your group would like to volunteer at any time between Saturday\, April 13 and Tuesday\, April 23 for one of these tasks\, then please reach out to Kristie Hamlin at khamlin@waldocap.org. \n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to Searsport Shores Campground and Makers Guild of Maine for donation of this year's event venue\, and to First National Bank as our major event sponsor.
