DESCRIPTION:Happy Wanderers Hike at McLellan Poor Preserve with Coastal Mountains Land Trust and Community Health!\n\n\n\nNorthport   Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust and Maine Health's Community Health program for a Happy Wanderers Hike at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday\, March 6 at McLellan Poor Preserve in Northport.\n\n\n\nAll are welcome! This hike is about 2 miles out-and-back along a path with moderate elevation. Hiking boots or weather durable shoes\, hiking poles\, and drinking water are recommended.\n\n\n\nContact Maeve Cosgrove at maevec@coastalmountains.org with questions.\n\n\n\nDirections: We will meet at the trailhead located on Route 1. From Belfast\, take Route 1 south. The preserve is 100 yards south of the Belfast/Northport town line. Parking is on the right. Go to penbaywaldo.coursestorm.com to register and receive updates about the event.\n\n\n\nCoastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13\,000 acres\, offering 55 miles of trails for public recreation.\n\n\n\nCommunity Health programming is offered by PenBay Medical Center's Community Health Improvement Team and is focused on preventing and reducing chronic disease and promoting the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
