SUMMARY:Exploration of Texture and Sculpting with Glass
DESCRIPTION:In this 4-hour mini workshop\, we will build confidence in sculpting through hot torch safety and use and a variety of mark making techniques including surface manipulation\, stringer drawing\, and bit work. We will also explore sculpture punties/blow punties as the finishing touch to bring your sculptural ideas to life! Blow hose included in cost of class!\n\n \n\nParticipants must have completed Glassblowing 1 & 2 at Waterfall Arts or the equivalent to register for this workshop. \n\n \n\nInstructor: Jessica See received her BS in glass art from Illinois State University and continued on to teach and work in glass studios in North Carolina and Oklahoma. Having fallen in love with the dichotomy of fluid molten glass and rigid cold glass\, her work consists mostly of soft sculptural forms with a playful and often cartoony twist.
