DESCRIPTION:Join North Star Adventures for a three hour Fall Foliage Tour of Belfast Harbor. Launching from the public boat landing we will explore the coast and soak in the fall colors from our sea kayaks. Multiple dates are available. Tours begin October 5th and finish on October 16.\n\nWe have several options depending on tides and weather. Crossing the channel we have the option of paddling down the  Passagassawakeag and exploring the tidal river.  The river name is of Native American origin and is believed to mean "a sturgeon's place" or "a place for spearing sturgeon by torchlight. We also have the option to paddle into Penobscot Bay and explore the coast toward Moose Point or Little River. Mornings are the best time to experience the beauty and tranquility of Belfast Harbor.\n\nWhat we provide: Sea Kayaks and paddling gear\, instruction\, hot drinks and a small snack.
