Reincarnation. Editing. Desecration. Call it what you will. We are taking a piece of art someone thought better of and making it . . . EVEN better. Scour the thrift shop bins\, your closet\, the basement\, and the curb for a painting\, sculpture\, sketch\, or print that is calling out to you for a makeover. (We will have a few on hand\, too.) Then push up your sleeves\, take a deep breath\, ask forgiveness\, and give it that extra sumthin' sumthin' it's been waiting for! No special skills necessary: we've got stencils\, paint pens\, collage materials\, needles\, embroidery thread\, and plenty of good ideas. A subversive\, affordable way to recycle and gain a new piece of art!\n\nAbout Grown-ups Play Dates:\n\nThese events are perfect for the art-phobic and dabblers who are jealous of all the fun kids have in our Community Arts Studio! These BYOB creative events are laid back\, no-pressure experiences in a judgment-free zone. Get a sitter\, roll up your sleeves\, and have some arty fun with friends (with a beverage of your choice).
