DESCRIPTION:I'VE BEEN WRONG BEFORE: POETRY & PERFORMANCE\n\nNovember 23 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST\n\n\n\nFREE\n\n\n\nPlease join us on Saturday\, November 23rd from 1 to 3pm to hear poetry by Maya Stein (Belfast's Poet Laureate) and Catie Joyce-Bulay and witness a dance performance by Caroline Routh. All three artists are part of our current exhibition\, I've Been Wrong Before\, featuring work by 22 artists about revising\, revisiting\, and reworking ideas. The exhibition is on view through November 29th.\n\n\n\nAbout The Artists\n\n\n\nMaya Stein is a poet\, writing facilitator\, and creative adventuress who has traveled several thousand miles by bicycle across various parts of the country towing a typewriter behind her\, inviting strangers to respond to writing prompts. Maya serves as the Poet Laureate of Belfast\, Maine.\n\n\n\nCatie Joyce-Bulay is a writer and visual artist living and working in Winslow\, Maine. She is working on a series of bread zines\, and writes the Substack newsletter Bread Friday on baking\, writing\, and the creative interplay between the two.\n\n\n\nCaroline Routh (she/they) is a dedicated dancer with a lifelong commitment to the art form. Their work embodies a fusion of rigorous technique and innovative thinking\, aiming to inspire and educate future generations of dancers and scholars.
