This workshop will provide an introduction to intaglio print making techniques via the drypoint method*. Scribing your mark into a plate produces beautiful velvety lines when printed. Includes a printing demonstration and time for each person to print their work. All ages and experience levels welcome.\n\n*Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking method that involves scratching an image into a plate with a pointed tool. These lines create a burr that holds ink\, meaning that the print reveals the drawing. Drypoint is an easy technique and great for beginners.\n\n \n\nAbout the instructor: Ross Dener is a subscriber in our printmaking studio at Waterfall Arts. He received his BFA in Printmaking from Purchase College\, State University of New York in 2019.
