DESCRIPTION:Life Drawing Marathon\n\nSeptember 14 @ 9:30 am - 9:30 pm\n\n$60.00 $100.00\n \n\nTo celebrate the opening of our Life Drawing Exhibition\, we are hosting a 12-hour Life Drawing Marathon. Challenge your artistic endurance in a fun-filled figure drawing marathon. A variety of models and both short and long poses will be featured throughout the day and it will be a great opportunity to develop and test each artist's skillset in regard to Responsive Life Drawing. A mid-day break for lunch and an evening break for dinner on your own will be built into the schedule. All skill levels are welcome!\n\nThroughout the day there will also be an opening reception in the Clifford Gallery for a life drawing exhibition that will feature the work of many of our regular participating artists. This exhibition will remain on view through September 27.\n\nLife Drawing has held an important place in the practice of artists for many centuries. We feel that it remains a vital and informative challenge to artists working across Midcoast Maine and beyond. Waterfall Arts Life drawing group is committed to respecting the traditions and pushing the potential of the discipline. The longest running group of its kind in Midcoast Maine\, the life drawing group at Waterfall Arts began over a decade ago. Anyone who has an interest in drawing from the figure can join this ongoing\, long-running\, non-instructional group. We offer Short Pose on Tuesday evenings and Long Pose on Saturday mornings throughout the year.\n\nPainters welcome no solvents. \n\nNo drop-ins all participants must preregister.\n\nInterested in modeling?
