SUMMARY:Photo Walks & Film Darkroom Basics
DESCRIPTION:Join local photographer Glendon Rand for a photo walk through Belfast. Participants will bring their own camera (smartphone\, digital\, or film) OR they can borrow one of Glendon's refurbished film cameras for the day\, along with a FREE roll of film. The group will then adventure downtown to take photographs with instruction on the basics of film photography (film speed/digital ISO\, aperture\, shutter speed\, framing your shot\, using natural and artificial lighting\, and lens focal length).\n\n \n\nAfter the walk the film will be processed by the instructor and a meetup will be scheduled to view the photos on a projector and discuss together. A second workshop will be scheduled for interested students who wish to learn how to print black-and white enlargements from the film negatives and engage with or refine darkroom techniques.
