DESCRIPTION:A meditative vesper service in the ecumenical Taize tradition will be offered every Tuesday at 5 p.m. through the summer at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church\, 95 Court St.\, Belfast.  The weekly service will continue through Tuesday\, Sept. 6.  All are invited to come for a time of quiet reflection\, prayer and simple singing.  The service will be led by the Rev. Barbara Briggs\, St. Margaret's rector\, who lived and worked with the monastic Taize community in France for 11 years.  Taize has traditionally attracted young people in particular\, from many faith traditions and countries\, for prayer and meditation centered around peace and justice.
