Walker will learn how to capture light and how to achieve captivating glows within their paintings while using photographs of their choice as reference. Many of the elements of design such as color\, value and space will be explored along with a discussion pertaining to observation and photographing for reference. Another focus during the workshop will be to gain a fundamental understanding of painting materials\, techniques and studio practices to make your painting process easier and more efficient. Each day will include a demonstration at the beginning of class. This workshop is open to all levels. Walker has been creating inspiring works of art for corporations and private collectors for over twenty years. He earned his bachelor's degree in fine arts at Virginia Commonwealth University with a concentration in illustration. He would later earn his masters in fine arts from Marywood University.
