DESCRIPTION:URBAN SKETCHBOOKING\n\n@ Waterfall Arts\n\nJuly 19 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm\n\n$5.00\n \n\nUrban Sketchbooking emphasizes storytelling that conveys a sense of place or a moment in time through drawings completed from direct observations.\n\nBring your supplies (sketchbook or paper\, pencil\, pen or other materials) and join us outside in downtown Belfast to produce quick sketches of PEOPLE in motion\, PLACES found in architecture\, Still Life OBJECTS\, and PANORAMAS and VISTAS. Participants will spend some time working independently and then reconvene to talk about what everyone observed and what stories their drawings can tell us.\n\nAll ages welcome! Don't forget sunscreen\, a hat\, and a water bottle. She specializes in a variety of relief printing techniques\, monoprints using gelatin plates and plastic plate engravings. She currently leads several outdoor sketch groups for art organizations in Virginia and Maine. Additionally\, she made new friends with NOVA Plein Air Artists to bring her "Dreamscapes"on the road in 2024.
