It is a lifetime sport. You can find friends no matter where you move later in life. 2. It is a level playing field. Men\, women\, young\, old compete with each other. There are many different levels of skill on the ice at the same time. 3. Minimal entry costs. We supply whatever equipment you may need. 4. Good Sportsmanship is the number one rule. No razzing or ridiculing. All good shots are complimented. Games begin and end with a handshake. Broomstacking follows each game. Both teams come off the ice and visit. So it encourages face to face interaction and friendships. 5. There are no "bench sitters" There are 4 people on a team. Everyone plays every game. 6. It's good exercise!!!! 7. It is called "chess on ice" for a reason. There is a lot of ever changing strategy to the game. 8. It builds confidence. Our kids are very supportive of each other\, both on and off the ice. 9. Our Youth directors are all "Safe Sport" trained. and we work together with other directors throughout the Northeast to offer the best possible experience for the kids. 10. Most importantly It's FUN!
