About us:
Bahner Farm is a family farm producing MOFGA certified organic producing certified organic mixed vegetables. We farm on about 12 acres of fields, with about 6 in vegetable production and 6 in cover crops each year. In addition, we grow fresh greens all winter in unheated hoophouses and 2 heated greenhouses. We are located on Rt. 3, only 5 miles from Belfast.
Our primary operation is mixed vegetable production for our farmstand, a multi farm CSA and wholesale accounts. We also grow annual garden seedlings that we sell through our farmstand in the spring and early summer. We typically have 6-8 employees April-October, and 3-4 employees November-March.
We love hanging out and working with our employees. We host monthly farm crew dinners so we can all relax and socialize a bit outside of work.
