FT Operations Manager

Help Wanted..... The Colonial Theatre seeks operations manager.

The Colonial Theatre will reopen in June. We hope. When we do... we are seeking an operations manager to assist with running the front and back of the house: all things scheduling/ staff/ ticketing/ cleaning/ concession/ projection / sound/ etc. The Colonial Theatre is a busy downtown theatre showing first run Hollywood and lesser known films, with more and more live and special events. Applicants should have a diverse background of working with staff and all aspects of the public, a ready grasp of tech challenges, an appetite for crowds, excellent communication skills, a love of humanity, and a willingness to be hands on in every aspect. Lifting and the ability to quickly navigate many levels of floors and hallways required. This position will work closely with owners and back office management. Flexibility with scheduling is essential as theatres run weekends, nights, weekdays matinees, etc. etc. This is not a 9-5 job. Do you love the movies? So do we and so do our customers.
