Processing Worker

Summary
Processing employees are responsible for the presentation, spicing and packaging of ready to eat smoked seafood.
 
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to lift 35lbs.

  • Works under refrigeration (55 degrees F.)

  • Required to stand, bend, twist, push and lift throughout the shift.

  • Must wear proper “PPE” including smocks, hair net, apron, gloves, boots and face mask.

  • Applies spices to products.

  • Weighs products.

  • Weighs and Packages shellfish and pates.

  • Places weighed products into proper bags for vacuum packing.

  • Operates vacuum pack, slicing, pate and skinning machines.

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must follow safe work and sanitation standards.

  • Must follow company policies and SOP’s

  • Must participate in stretch breaks.

  • Must be commitment to the Mowi code of conduct and vision and values.

  • Must be flexible in both work assignments and hours worked.

  • Must be dependable. 

 
Education Requirements

  • High Diploma or the equivalent.
