For only the second time in the history of our Discovery Boatbuilding program, spanning more than 25 years, we are hiring a Boatbuilding Educator! A unique opportunity to build boats, develop workshops and curriculum, and create year-long relationships with students outside of a traditional classroom environment.
This groundbreaking program provides traditional skills education to students from several area public schools weekly throughout the school year. Discovery Boatbuilding puts students in a hands-on environment that emphasizes and develops each student’s personal growth, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and problem solving.
