Prepared Foods Department Manager

Belfast Co-op is seeking an experienced manager to lead our Prepared Foods department into the future! 

Using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, our successful scratch kitchen provides our community with delicious meals, sides, and baked goods. The Prepared Foods Department Manager works closely with Kitchen Coordinator to ensure smooth departmental operations and is responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and workers, maintaining good vendor relationships, monitoring margin performance, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices. Additionally,  the Prepared Foods Dept. Manager works with with fellow department managers throughout the store to foster an excellent worker and shopper experience.  Previous successful staff management and project coordination experience, confidence with computers, and a passion for food and community are musts.  

 $19.39/hour plus benefits, more with experience
