BCC FOCUSES on Waldo County’s multi-faceted jewels of traditional and diverse contemporary art genres and creative nonprofit and for-profit business models including organic farms, crafts, and creative services.
BCC FOSTERS the spirit and the business of art and culture in Waldo County. We connect creatives – artists and art organizations – to their appreciators, grow their audiences and constituencies, to profoundly nourish their creative work and impulses.
BCC ILLUMINATES Waldo County arts and cultural events on the BCC website, our dynamic, ever-changing Facebook presence, public calendar, guerilla pop-up networking events, festivals, conferences, performances, music, theater and art events, Art Works, Belfast Busking Festival, FreeHand Forum: Rural Arts and Activism Conference, innovative marketing and promotions.
We are located in the Basil Burwell Community Theater at 17 Court Street, behind the Crosby Center and the First Church.
