The Finch Gallery will complete its fifth season on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. This year’s collection features oils by Belfast artist Jerri Finch, a selection of prints and cards, and sculpture by Rockport artist Jay Hoagland. The Finch Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in September, and Thursday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and by appointment in October. As a special thank you, discounted pricing is being offered on all prints on canvas and paper, and cards until the closing on October 12.
For over 35 years, Jerri Finch has been living and painting in Belfast, and has developed a reputation in the Midcoast as a fine arts painter. In 2015, Finch opened the Finch Gallery, situated between Federal and Main Street in Belfast, and adjacent to the iconic 1869 building that houses Consumers Fuel Company, owned and operated by her husband John Holmes.
