About Us

Midcoast Actors’ Studio (MAS), a 501c3 non-profit theater company, has produced over 35 theatrical productions in and around Belfast since 2012, as well as summer theater camps, workshops and storytelling events. The Midcoast Actors’ Studio Theatre (MAST) offers Waldo County and downtown Belfast year-round theater produced to professional standards:

- 5 mainstage productions per season, Pulitzer and Tony winning plays and musicals
- New work by local, state-wide, and national playwrights
- Youth programming - student matinees to Waldo County schools, summer theater camp, classes
- Senior programming - in conjunction with Senior College
- Workshops and classes with experienced professionals, acting, movement, voice, technical theater
- All in an intimate, climate-controlled, intimate theatre in downtown Belfast.
