Nestled in Belfast, halfway up the coast of Maine, the Nightfall warmly welcomes all through its doors. “Thank you for such a warm and welcoming stay! Appreciate all you did to make this a home away from home!”-M.S., NJ 2017. Built in the mid-1800’s, this stately house has had many lives. In the 1920’s its convenient location on Coastal Rt. 1 loaned itself to being a lodge, where a weary traveler could have a meal, a clean bed to sleep in, and add a bath for a nickel!
Hello! Hope everyone is doing well! New update from the State of Maine. As of June 12, residents of NH and VT do not have to quarantine while visiting ME, nor do they have to obtain a negative COVID test prior to arrival. Starting July 1, and extending through August, visitors from states other than NH and VT must obtain a negative COVID test no later than 72hrs before arrival. Otherwise, those people must either quarantine 14 days or obtain a test upon arrival and quarantine until negative results are in. Lodging establishments are required to have a Certificate of health compliance be filled out upon arrival. Lodging establishments are within their rights to garner proof, such as negative test results or a receipt from an establishment in Maine older than 14 days. These regulations can be found on the Maine.gov website under COVID -19. Thank you all!!!
