Belfast Senior Center Treasure & Holiday Auction

On Friday, Oct. 28, a fundraising event will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Belfast Boathouse. It is a sale of Senior Treasures, Holiday Items, and a Silent Auction that includes Gift Cards.

According to the Senior Center, in a news release, seniors in the Belfast area are parting with many items they have bought over the years that are in new or excellent condition including, but not limited to: decorator pieces, craft items, custom jewelry, clothing, decorations for all the holidays, practical items, puzzles, cookbooks; and the list goes on.

The silent auction table includes special items and gift cards donated by local businesses including, gas, dining, book and video, auto, florist, clothing and shoes, hardware, foot care and more.

“These are great for giving or your personal enjoyment,” said the release.

You need not be present when the bids are closed you will be called if you have the highest bid.

The event is unable to accept credit cards. Cash or checks only please.

This event is open to the public and All are invited, admission is free.

The building is located on the waterfront at the foot of Commercial Street, Belfast, and is handicap accessible.

This is a fundraising event and all proceeds go to benefit the Belfast Senior Center, a 501 (c)3 organization serving area seniors 60+ years of age.
