Book Arts Workshop: Star Books

Learn to make this complex, layered accordion book, also called a carousel book. In this class, we will design the background, middle ground & foreground of our star books. We will finish the book by stitching the three layers together and adding decorative covers with ribbon ties. Tools & materials provided.

 

About the instructor: Joelle Webber has spent 40 years collecting book arts techniques in college & workshop settings. She now designs classes for many different communities of makers based on her experience in writing, paper decorating, collage, calligraphy, pop-up, paper sculpting, book binding and box making.
