Glassblowing Workshop - Sculpted Glass Heart

This all-levels workshop introduces students to hot glass sculpting through the creation of a heart-shaped glass form. Participants will learn basic studio safety, become familiar with essential glassblowing tools, and work with an instructor to plan and execute a simple design using colored glass. Students will encase their design in clear glass and shape it into a heart form, with instruction emphasizing controlled sculpting, symmetry, and clarity. Because glassblowing is a collaborative process, students will take turns assisting one another throughout the session. Finished pieces require overnight cooling in the annealer and will be available for pickup at Waterfall Arts on a later date. Shipping is available for an additional fee.
