To learn more about Spectrum Generations visit our website: www.spectrumgenerations.org. Spectrum Generations is demonstratively committed to improving health care quality and access for the people of central Maine and beyond. Our mission is to promote and advance the well-being and independence of older and disabled adults, with the support of their care partners, to live in the community of their choice. Founded in 1972, the organization has steadily grown and expanded its services within six central Maine counties (plus the towns of Brunswick and Harpswell). Over the past 50 years, the organization has implemented complex, multisector projects that involve multiple organizations and/or funding sources to include Mainecare, Medicare, federal Older American Act funding, state grants, Veteran’s Affairs, commercial insurers, and private foundations and donations. Through this braided funding, Spectrum Generations is a leading provider of nutrition services (home delivered also known as Meals on Wheels and congregate), information and advice, referrals, caregiving support, licensed (Adult Day and Community Case Management) and registered Personal Support Services (PSS), Home and Community Based (HCBS) programing, as well as health promotion, wellness, and social activities for older and disabled adults. This broad spectrum of services is designed to improve the quality of life for multiple generations of Mainers at little to no cost for individuals and families we serve. Spectrum Generations provides services to over 10,000 Mainers, annually. Learn more by visiting our new website: www.spectrumgenerations.org
