@ Waterfall Arts, Belfast
Waterfall Arts is celebrating Youth Art Month with its eighth annual Young Artists’ Gallery Takeover. The exhibition will be on view from March 8 to April 6. An opening reception will take place on Friday, March 8, from 4pm to 7pm. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. Local food truck Papa’s Smokehouse will be on site serving up good eats!
The Young Artists’ Gallery Takeover showcases the vast array of talent from Waldo County’s up-and-coming young artists working in paint, photography, ceramics, and other media. Works of art from artists ranging from prekindergarten children through 18-year-old artists across our community will be on display in the windows of downtown Belfast’s merchants and businesses, both galleries at Waterfall Arts and at the Belfast Public Library.
Funded in part by a grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional thanks to our generous sponsors The Anonimo Foundation, Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust, Davis Family Foundation, and Little River Veterinary Clinic.
