Salt & Thread is a day of creativity on the Maine coast. Drop into any workshop that catches your eye, enjoy live music, browse the craft fair, or simply spend the afternoon making something with your hands. Come for one class or stay all day.
By late afternoon the making gives way to fresh flatbreads from the wood-fired oven (with a sprinkle of salt), $10 margaritas and good conversation.
What would you like to make? No experience is necessary. Bring a friend or come on your own. You'll fit right in.

Class Offerings
Carve a comfort bird, make a silver pendant, mend a favorite garment, build a wooden grazing board, weave on a small loom, spin your first yarn, stitch wool felt foxes & tigers, create a fiber art coastal scene, make a Marionette, nautical knots: buttons & coasters
