Every day is Earth Day for the Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition, the Waldo County Climate Action Coalition and the many other organizations in our area working to preserve our beautiful environment. But, as the snow turns to rain and our environment turns from gray to green, April is a wonderful time to renew our appreciation for all the wonder our earth holds. You can celebrate Earth Day on April 22 by joining BBWC and the Waldo County Climate Action Coalition at 6:30pm when the Colonial Theatre will show A Peace of Forest. This compelling, feature-length film celebrates the beauty and intimacy of wildlife in Maine by showcasing surprising, tender and exquisite interactions of wildlife during peaceful moments in Maine's natural world. After the film, Thomas and Lee Ann Szelog, award winning photographers and passionate wildlife advocates, will discuss the making of the film. There will be a $15.00 admission charge for this event.
