Our eyes are on the night skies!  After getting inspired by our “Dark Skies” exhibit (showing in our galleries throughout February), we will choose existing groups of stars visible in Maine during the winter and create our own constellations with them. Kids become prolific storytellers, as the tale of what they see in the stars comes to life.

We will use construction paper crayons on black paper to illustrate our visions in vivid colors. When the lights are out, high quality, dimensional glow in the dark star stickers will glow brightly till morning, with a spray of luminescent ink representing the milky way.

Turn your bedroom into a lights-out gallery and pass on the stories of your new constellations for generations to come!

Art Together Mornings are monthly workshops where families can enjoy quality time together, collaborating and creating side by side. Our Community Art Studio is used by many and filled to the brim with artwork and tools, so we ask that you keep your littlest artists nearby to keep them safe. We have crayons and baby-safe toys to keep the tiniest hands busy!

One ticket grants admission for the entire family.
