Waterfall ArtsWhat do you think of when you think of HOME? This question lies at the heart of a creative and thought-provoking workshop led by teaching artist Lisa F. Wheeler. Participants are encouraged to reflect on their personal connection to home—whether it’s a physical space, a feeling, a memory, or an aspiration. Through a series of questions and hands-on art-making, you’ll use a variety of mixed-media techniques to create a unique piece of artwork that captures your story and vision of HOME.
The writing and artwork created during the workshop will be featured in an exhibition scheduled for late February. Location TBA.
About the instructor: Lisa F. Wheeler is the Education Director at Waterville Creates. Previously, Lisa served as an art educator in Waterville Public Schools, and as a teaching artist at the Colby Museum of Art.
