FT Delivery Driver/Appliance installer/Laborer
HELP WANTED:
Macleod Furniture, a local, family owned appliance and furniture store in Belfast, ME is looking for a Delivery Driver/Appliance installer/Laborer. Our Delivery Drivers/Installers/Laborers are responsible for direct customer service in the shop and in customer homes and businesses. The Delivery Driver/Installer/Laborers are also responsible for delivery and set up of appliances and furniture. The right candidate for this Delivery Driver/Installer/Laborer position would be honest and trustworthy, have excellent customer service skills, common sense, and the ability to troubleshoot problems. They must also be reliable, friendly, courteous, and careful.
Delivery Driver/Installer candidates MUST be 25 or over (to be covered by insurance), have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a box truck. (CDL not required)
This Delivery Driver/Installer position requires ability to perform continuous heavy lifting and carrying of appliances and furniture. As members of a small team we do a little bit of everything and our delivery crew is expected to assist with loading and unloading shipments, helping customers, assembling furniture, and general upkeep around the shop
This is a full time year round position, with Health Insurance and vacation time provided.
