Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Dietary Staff member to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in an Assisted Living Community. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy creating a clean and welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you. You may also be required to fill in dietary openings as well in the kitchen.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Assisted Living standards is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
