Responsibilities
- Introduce and perfect delicious, elevated Pub fare menu selections, including burgers, steaks, seafood, beef short ribs, etc.
- Document and then follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production guidelines
- Clean and maintain station, practice responsible safety and sanitation
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift, ensure Prep is 100% ready for service.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience in commercial restaurant kitchens.
- The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, a strong team player with great communication skills, and the ability to be flexible, positive and willing to jump in where needed.
- Detail-oriented while keeping an eye on the big picture. ? We want a candidate who is PASSIONATE about food and possess the desire to learn new skills and gain valuable experience working with a culinary team
- Housing is 11 miles from Restaurant. Car a must for commute. Mid-coast Maine has no public transportation.
