We currently have an opening on our education team for a Community Prevention Educator in Sagadahoc and Lincoln Counties. As a Community Prevention Educator, they will connect and collaborate with community organizations to encourage violence prevention, raise awareness, and strengthen their ability to support survivors. They will give presentations and trainings throughout the four counties we serve, but focus on Sagadahoc and Lincoln counties. With the education team, they will work to create, plan and advertise awareness events. They will also be a part of the team staffing our agency’s 24-hour helpline. This includes approximately 8 hours of helpline coverage per week during the work day (9AM-5PM). Additionally, this position requires after-hours and weekend direct service work approximately 4-5 times a year, for one week at a time. *Please see details regarding additional compensation below.
