Waterfall Arts POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: Waterfall Arts Youth and Family Outreach Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Programming Work with Program Director to develop compelling new programming for children and families; Coordinate and lead after-school and summer programs; Develop and oversee workshops & classes for students ages Pre K - 18, including management and evaluations of teachers, volunteers, and interns for YFO programming; Develop and coordinate All Ages Art Happenings - free, public events; Coordinate and lead Art Is For Everyone tents at public spaces, festivals, etc.; Initiate collaboration with schools and other organizations serving youth and families, coordinating with teachers to bring students to Waterfall Arts for tours, school visits & hands-on programs; Work with the Program Director to ensure collection of accurate and comprehensive program statistics for compilation as needed for evaluations, internal and external reports, grant submissions, reports, and analysis; Coordinate and collaborate with other local youth-mentoring organizations; Work with the Marketing Department to develop a social media presence and interaction with youth and families, in coordination with other organizational promotional efforts. General: Develop and oversee annual budget for your program area with Program Director and Executive Director; Positively represent organization and its stakeholders at external events and activities as needed; Commitment to mission, goals and objectives of organization; Is able to articulate Waterfall Arts mission to all constituencies; With other staff members and volunteers, contribute to and participate in smooth organizational management and communication; Perform duties and responsibilities as requested with a sense of humor and team spirit. SUMMARY: The Youth and Family Outreach Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive youth & outreach “art-is-for-everyone” program at Waterfall Arts.

BENEFITS: $41,000 - $43,000. Salary commensurate with experience

SCHEDULE: This position allows for a flexible schedule, with some night and weekend work required, as needed, for staffing onsite and offsite events and meetings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of the position include: Sitting for extended periods at a desk and working on a computer with some background noise. Repetitive motions for computer and phone use (typing, handling documents). Clear vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screens. Adequate hearing and clear speaking to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in virtual meetings. Some public speaking will be required. Occasional walking, standing, bending, stooping, and squatting to move supplies or access different areas of the facility, which is not currently ADA compliant. The position does occasionally involve more strenuous activities like lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors in various weather conditions, or navigating terrain in public parks and outdoor areas.
