Left Bank Books is looking for a part-time employee for Fridays and Saturdays! We are looking for someone to work for a total of at least 15 hours per week. Availability to fill in at other times is a big plus; the job would likely include an additional half-day every week or two for various fill-in needs.
This job would begin in late September. Hours may increase temporarily during the holiday season if this employee is available for additional shifts.
We are looking for a candidate who loves books and reading, who has a kind and helpful customer service manner, has retail experience (ideally), and is comfortable with using computers, the internet, and is comfortable learning a point of sale system. It is extra helpful (though not required) if this person is able to lift boxes of up to 35 pounds. (Books are heavy!)
Wage would begin at $16.00 per hour.
