In keeping with the seismic shifts BFS is experiencing, we recently learned that the American Legion Post 43 is re-configuring their building, and they will no longer rent to outside organizations like ours. We are a bit shocked -- and sad -- since the Legion hall has been our dear venue for the entire 15 years of Flying Shoes. But we also realize that this ''quiet time'' (when we're on hiatus from our monthly dances) affords us the opportunity to find a new home -- with a disco ball, of course.
