The vision of the Belfast Soup Kitchen is to eliminate chronic hunger for people and families in Waldo County not only by offering nutritious food, but also connections to resources and educational opportunities to mitigate the circumstances surrounding food insecurity.
The Belfast Soup Kitchen does more than put food on the table. In addition to feeding our guests, we provide access to a wide array of resources offered through community partners. These organizations engage with our guests and meet them where they are, through scheduled and requested visits to the soup kitchen.
