Recreation - Water Hours: Sailing daily June - October
Come sail with us and experience the sights and sounds of beautiful Penobscot Bay aboard the schooner CHARM. Depart from Thompson’s Wharf in Belfast for a two hour day sail where you can take a turn at the helm, help raise the sails or just relax. Along the way you can keep a lookout for harbor seals, bald eagles, harbor porpoises and white-sided dolphins!

The schooner CHARM sails each day from June 1 to October 1 and offers relaxing day sails, sunset cruises and private charters for up to 34 passengers. Sailing on CHARM is like a cruise in the company of old friends while enjoying light fare from locally sourced farmer’s markets, fishermen and eateries. Whether it’s for two hours, or a private charter, CHARM is the perfect way to enjoy a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or just getting together with good friends!
Our amazing crew, invites you and your family to share their love of sailing while enjoying all the beauty Penobscot Bay has to offer. Enjoy the warm summer sun as you glide along the rocky shoreline past lighthouses, magnificent private yachts and local lobster boats hauling the day's catch.
In addition to our regularly scheduled sailing trips, CHARM offers an exciting way for your organization to reconnect after a long hiatus. We can help you engage with local wineries, breweries, eateries and talent within our community in unique, specialty sailing experiences.
