Empty Nest and all the Rest. One-Man Comedy "Empty Nest and All the Rest" Benefits Camden Opera House Community Arts Fund
Laugh your way through one of life's biggest transitions with "Empty Nest and All the Rest," a hilarious and heartfelt one-man comedy by storyteller Clay Hausmann. Fifty percent of all ticket sales will benefit the Opera House's Community Arts Fund, which helps provide free and reduced-cost arts programming throughout the year.
Inspired by the sudden departure of his children for college, Hausmann turns the ups and downs of parenting, marriage, and becoming an empty nester into an evening of relatable comedy. Blending sharp observational humor with engaging storytelling, the 80-minute performance explores everything from parenting mishaps and relationship quirks to the surprising silence that follows when the kids finally leave home.
The Camden Opera House Community Arts Fund is supported entirely by donations and helps make programs such as the Blue Café series, Summer Sounds concerts, Andre the Seal Who Came Home, Theater Week, and other community events free or affordable for all.
