Our Fireside Chat hosts this month will be Nicolle Littrell (of DoryWoman Rowing), Joanne Moesswilde, Susan Cutting, and Nneka Oliphant from Come Boating! whose mission is to provide educational boating related programs that preserve and broaden the maritime heritage shared by the Belfast area community and strengthen our connection to the sea. Nicolle also owns DoryWoman Rowing and offers rowing lessons and guided tours of Belfast Bay and the Passagassawakeag River in a traditional-style wooden dory boat with a licensed Maine Guide. Our hosts will start the storytelling with tales of their experiences on the water. Bring your stories about boating adventures (or misadventures!), sailing, rowing, kayaking, or playing on or near the water in Maine or elsewhere! When was the last time you were messing about in a boat? How have you been transformed by an outdoor experience on the water? Fireside Chats are free and all ages. They take place on the front lawn of Waterfall Arts around a firepit. Join us—storytelling is for everyone, no rehearsals or auditions required.
