$45.00 – $55.00 Tired of drawing on paper? Want to try drawing on metal and plastic? This workshop will provide an introduction to intaglio print making techniques via the drypoint method*. Scribing your mark into a plate produces beautiful velvety lines when printed. Includes a printing demonstration and time for each person to print their work. All ages and experience levels welcome. *Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking method that involves scratching an image into a plate with a pointed tool. These lines create a burr that holds ink, meaning that the print reveals the drawing. Drypoint is an easy technique and great for beginners. About the instructor: Ross Dener is a subscriber in our printmaking studio at Waterfall Arts. He received his BFA in Printmaking from Purchase College, State University of New York in 2019.
