Please join us at our 45th Anniversary event at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 20. A second event will take place on Thursday, August 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Center for Maine Contemporary Arts in Rockland. Events include brief staff presentations, hors d’oeuvres and beverage, a toast and cake cutting dedicated to survivors, our communities, and our 45th anniversary, time to explore the museums, and our Tree of Hope where attendees can write a message of hope and courage for survivors, or to share a wish for a future free from abuse. New Hope Midcoast honors its 45th year serving victims of domestic abuse, dating violence, and stalking in midcoast Maine. That’s 45 years of listening to, believing in, and supporting survivors as we help victims move from fear and oppression toward safety and self-sufficiency. We recognize this milestone of survivor strength and resilience and the trust that they and you, our community members, place in our services. We look forward to a future free from abuse. RSVPs to developmentdirector@newhopemidcoast.org or (207) 691.5969 are helpful, but not necessary. For more information, visit https://newhopemidcoast.org/about/45th-anniversary-exhibits-and-events.
