Learn how to turn everyday paper objects into structural pieces of art. Participants will gain skills in composition, recycled medium manipulation, and paper mâché techniques. We'll work on festive items that can be worn or used as props in our Art Parade on August 15. Participants might make masks, hats, umbrellas, silly neckties, jewelry, or flowers which can be worn or carried in the parade!

This class is designed for adults of all skill levels, no experience necessary, just an interest in turning everyday recyclable materials into fun sculptures. These sessions will include instruction, brainstorming, using supplies, and show-and-tell about our progress—while also encouraging participants to take home their pieces, work on several pieces, use, and contribute, resources like interesting boxes, different paper grades, strings and more!
