Youth Printmaking Camp - Etching & Collage

In this youth specific printing class, students will learn how to polish, etch and print a copper plate etching; just like they did in the Middle Ages, Medieval times and Renaissance. This technique offers artists the ability to work with extra fine lines, making highly detailed drawings achievable and easily reproduced. Students will work independently on their own small designs and then collaboratively on one big plate to be printed together. Etching prints make awesome gifts, trading cards, decor etc. Great for history lovers, or anyone wanting a beginning step in working with metal and printmaking.
