Miracle German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Maine (EIN 82-1137182) is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Corporation. We are a foster based rescue located near Belfast, Maine (midcoast area).
To provide care for homeless dogs and cats until they can be placed in permanent, responsible homes while promoting humane values in our community through outreach and educational programs.
Through a thorough application and review process, in 2018 UMC awarded $500,000 in grants to more than 40 agencies. We also provide free training & support to nonprofits in Knox & Waldo counties.

The Club is a part of Anah Shrine of Bangor which is the Northern – Eastern Maine Shrine Temple. The philanthropy of Shrine is to provide free medical treatment to children through Shriners Hospitals.
