Bagaduce Music presents Time Travel to Tin Pan Alley, a unique docu-concert from The Time Travel Trio, who deliver a new take on celebrated standards from the golden Jazz Age of the 1920s written by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and the Gershwins. The inspiration behind forming the Time Travel Trio was the recent availability of popular songs from the 1920s into the public domain, and the opportunity it presented to perform and share the history of the songs that formed the basis of what is informally known as The Great American Songbook. The sheet music used to prepare these concerts was borrowed from the Bagaduce Music library! Join us Thursday, Feb 13 at Henry D. Moore Library, 22 Village Rd, Steuben. The special Valentine-Eve Concert begins at 6pm, doors will open at 5:30pm. For more details and for tickets visit bagaducemusic.org, contact Lydia at lydia@bagaducemusic.org, or call 207-374-5454.
